I had a terrible nightmare last night. Well, some people might not categorize my dream as a "nightmare," but I thought it was pretty scary. Promise not to laugh? Good. Ok, story time with Jenna Lyn is now in session. So I think I was visiting my friend's church when all of a sudden I found myself in a big cold room. Apparently this church grows in numbers so rapidly that they have an annual slurpee making event- the only catch is that they are making human slurpees. Sounds kind of strange? What kind of church would eliminate their youth group by making the teens into slurpees?! Well don't look at me, I was the victim! Ok, so back to the story. They locked all of us into this large, white, cold, room. Then they began the slurpee making. Big scary drills and spikes started coming out of all of the walls, so we had to dodge them. It was getting more and more risky every step we took, and, obviously, getting more and more scary. But! Don't loose hope my fellow bloggers! I have not been turned into a slurpee after all! Because of my mucho muki-muki I was able to pull myself up onto a tall stack of chairs, thus escaping the tragic death of being made into a slurpee! Yea! Oh yes, I did forget one detail. When I took refuge on the stack of chairs, I did also save Aleah by helping her up too! I'm not really quite sure where she came into my dream, but rest assured, we are both safe now! YEA!
Can any one of you interpret dreams?

The youth group obviously represents the world, and the spikes and drills represent global warming. Global warming is closing in on us and is going to lighten the population of the world through the death it is going to cause. The stack of chairs is Barack Hussein Obama, so if you climb onboard with Barack, you will be saved from global warming.
Brilliant, huh!
Hmmmm . . . I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with seven years of harvest and seven years of famine.
ha ha Jenna Lyn I love you :)
haha.
that's an awesome dream jenna.
maybe it means that u will be an effective missionary for Christ and bring someone to Him.
:)
wouldn't that be cool?!
ok, if r burgett is ur dad,
he's just kidding, right?
I am her oldest brother, and yes, I was being facetious :-)
well... for starters you may not want to participate in free slurpy day next year if that is what has caused this... but quite seriously... i think i can see how it might work... today in church, this thought just hit me... "where is the passion, the love that i feel in christ?" i mean... we were talking about spiritual malnutrition... about what is good...a nd all they were talking about was reading ur bible... now dont get me wrong thats all well and good... put i just... i didnt see the fire in these people that ive seen in others who have christ burning in them. maybe... maybe the big church in your dream... is kinda like what the church is now... just a big get together where were told to read our bibles... and maybe tha slurpee making process is the discouragement from continuing within Christs Fire... and it doesnt have to come from drills or spikes in the wall... it could just be the lack of someone who comes up to you in a hard time and pats ur back and tells you to keep going strong... or in a time when your slipping away from god it might be the lack of someone asking where hes at in your life... anyway you look at it ... it can be just as detrimental to our walk as giant slurpy drills.
ok thats probably just a bunch of wack but i tried... lol

Sounds like a twisted version of Sweeey Todd...
with all the fright but without the satire.
Yikes! Very bad combo.
Sorry we didn't get to pray last night. Some of us are going to get cheesecake on Wednesday. I believe Shane is going. Count this as your most formal invitation. :) Oh, and girls' night is a go! Details to come....
You saved me! I'm honored! And I am so glad I got to live..with you.
I cannot express my thanks.
But uhm...hm...maybe this means...that..
We will never be made into any type of beverage. yeah? yeah. I think that's it.

Oh wow! Thank-you so much for everybody’s interpretations- quite interesting! And just to catch everybody up on everything- Ryan is indeed my brother; I love Sarah; I'm not quite sure where missionary work fits into a dream about slurpees, but it was a nice suggestion =), Jessie I guess we'll just catch up some time this week? And thanks for the invitation, but I decided to stay home from the cheesecake outing and also the concert tonight (I wanted to hang out with Tyler instead and watch Phantom of the Opera!), And Aleah, I am ever so glad you are safe!
And as a side note: I think that global warming is probably the most accurate interpretation. Thanks Ryan!
